October 15, 2015, Makati Shangri-la Hotel – Ms. Judith Versoza, President and CEO of Aveate Management Corporation, was awarded the Ernst & Young Woman Entrepreneur of The Year Award for her passion and dedication to Josiah’s Catering. What started as a small eatery has grown into a world-class catering company supplying up to 30 events daily with quality food and services tailored to each client’s taste and needs.

During the 1986 EDSA Revolution’s economic crisis, Ms. Judith Versoza and her husband lost their jobs. Hard times were upon them, but the constant need to provide for their family gave them the motivation to earn a living. With only P20,000 for capital in her pocket and the passion to cook, the family opened up a small eatery in their garage. When Josiah’s Catering rose to prominence in the local catering business, Ms. Judith Versoza incorporated the Aveate Management Corporation in 2015 to consolidate their business ventures. The company currently employs 400 people and continues to grow. It is now accredited in 91 venues in Metro Manila and nearby provinces such as ┬áNueva Ecija. Zambales, Bacolod, and Bicol.

Ms. Judith Versoza was also recently honored as one of the most outstanding Filipina Entrepreneurs at the ASEAN Women Entrepreneurs Forum 2016 in Hanoi, Vietnam.

The Josiah’s Catering team is very proud of her achievements, her determination to succeed, and her unwavering faith in God. She always believed that God will help you in all challenges that life has to offer.
